There are days when you have all the time in the world, to prepare yourself a hearty loaf of yeast bread, and then there are days when you need some bread immediately! Now there's no need to run to the store, because this quick dough is ideal for such days!

I began experimenting with this dough when the lockdown was imposed.  I had no yeast at home, so this quick dough was and still is my go-to recipe as I can make myself a hearty loaf, pizza, bagels, burger buns, pretzels, garlic bread and lots more...in just a few minutes!

Throughout this 'Quick Dough' series I'll be showing you how to work with white flour and whole-wheat flour. Usually, whole-wheat bread turns out slightly dense as compared to white bread, but with this recipe, you'll notice how there's almost no difference in texture and taste! In fact, working with whole-wheat flour is actually much easier and healthier!
